Why Extrait
Most of what you buy is alcohol
An Eau de Toilette is roughly 10% fragrance oil. An Eau de Parfum, 15–20%. Everything else in that bottle is carrier alcohol that evaporates in the first twenty minutes.
We blend at 30% — Extrait de Parfum. That means less spray, more scent, and a fragrance that is still on your shirt collar the next morning. It also means a 30ml bottle outlasts a 100ml EDT.

Sourced
Fragrance oils from established European and Middle Eastern houses — the same suppliers used by commercial perfumers.

Blended
Hand-mixed in small batches at 30% concentration in perfumer's alcohol.

Macerated
Rested for four weeks in the dark so the notes marry properly. This step is what most cheap blends skip.

Bottled
Filtered and filled into heavy glass flacons, labelled and sealed by hand.

No — and we are upfront about that. Essence Lab blends are our own compositions, built around scent profiles and note structures that are popular worldwide. We are an independent brand with no affiliation to any designer house. What you get is the character of a profile you already like, at extrait concentration, for a fraction of the price.
Between 8 and 12 hours on skin for most people, with the base notes lingering on clothing well into the next day. Longevity varies with skin type, weather and where you spray — fabric holds scent far longer than skin.
The 10ml travel size. It is Rs 1,950 and gives you roughly 100 sprays, which is enough to know whether a blend suits you before spending on a 30ml or 50ml.
Yes. Cash on delivery is available island-wide. You can also pay by bank transfer and upload the deposit slip at checkout — bank transfer orders are dispatched the same working day once verified.
Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara are usually 1–2 working days. The rest of the island is 2–4 working days. You will get a tracking number by WhatsApp once the parcel is handed to the courier.
