Independent brand disclaimer
Essence Lab is an independent fragrance brand. Our products are our own original compositions. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any designer or niche fragrance house, and we do not claim to be.
All trademarks, brand names and product names belonging to other companies remain the property of their respective owners. Where we describe a fragrance profile, any reference to another brand is descriptive only — used to communicate a scent character — and does not imply any relationship, equivalence or origin.
We do not sell counterfeit, replica, decanted or rebottled designer product, and we will not knowingly supply anyone reselling our products as such.
Placing an order
An order placed on this site is an offer to buy. It becomes a contract once we confirm it — normally by WhatsApp or phone. We may decline an order if the item is out of stock, the delivery address is outside our service area, or we cannot verify the order.
Prices
All prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees and include applicable taxes. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you confirm. We may change prices at any time, but never after an order is confirmed.
Payment
We accept cash on delivery and bank transfer. For bank transfer, goods are dispatched once the payment is verified. Submitting a false or altered deposit slip will result in the order being cancelled.
Stock
We blend in small batches, so items can sell out between you adding something to your cart and us confirming the order. If that happens we will offer you an alternative, a wait, or a full refund.

Use of the products
Our fragrances are for external use on skin and clothing only. Do not ingest. Keep away from eyes, flame and children. Fragrance ingredients can cause irritation in sensitive individuals — if you have known sensitivities, test on a small area of skin first and stop using it if irritation occurs.
Alcohol-based fragrance is flammable. Store away from heat and direct sunlight, and be aware that airlines restrict how much you may carry.
Reviews
Reviews submitted on this site are moderated before publication. We publish honest negative reviews. We remove reviews that are abusive, contain personal information, or are not about a product we sell. We do not write, buy or incentivise reviews.
Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
